The presidential nominee of the Green Party will be determined at its Presidential Nominating Convention to be held in Detroit, Michigan on July 11, 2020.

The criteria for official recognition can be found in Article 10 of the Green Party Rules and Procedures.
The PCSC has recommended that all officially recognized candidates be placed on state primary ballots and be allowed to participate fully in state primary processes. Other candidates may be included at the discretion of the state parties. Write-in Option is available for other unrecognized candidates
