Ohio Green Party Condemns FBI Raid on Cleveland Voting Rights Office as Voter Suppression Tactic
COLUMBUS, OH — The Ohio Green Party stands in full solidarity with the Ohio Organizing Collaborative (OOC) following the June 11 FBI raid on their Cleveland office and the interrogation of volunteers and civil rights leaders across the state.
What Happened
Federal agents descended on the OOC’s Cleveland headquarters and questioned members statewide, reportedly seeking evidence of alleged voter fraud. The OOC is a nonprofit dedicated to voter registration and ballot access expansion for Ohio’s most marginalized communities.
Our Response
This raid is not justice. It is intimidation.
